The Beginning of Thee Blog Blog...

So, I lost my job yesterday. It really sucks for anyone who is out of work, and being in human resources, I feel the burn in a slightly different way. Earlier this week, a few people mentioned that my witty commentary on the things I see and hear would make a pretty good blog. I chuckled a bit, but realized that with the high demands of my job, I couldn't effectively maintain a blog and do my job. Well, seeing as how the ol' job thing is no longer, I thought I'd give it a go.

What, OH what, would I blog about?! Some suggested my life and time in HR land... some suggested my love of food... other suggested my affinity for the most random of things. What I determined yesterday, as I sat with someone special and cried into my consolatory pizza lunch was that I am good at a few things and that the combination of some of those things (making lists, finding/sharing great blogs, and relatively clever criticisms) would make a pretty good blog.

With that, I present to you Thee Blog Blog. I'll be honest, I wanted it to be The Blog Blog... but at was already taken. Instead, I opted for Thee in an effort to convey an imposed sense of importance that I hope you will relay to others. It may very well be an epic fail, but it's something for me to do as I try very hard to keep my sanity, look for a job, and avoid jumping off the East L.A. interchange.

What I set out to do is to compile a list of excellent (or sometimes excellent) blogs for you to check out. You shouldn't really do this while you're at work because I don't want you to lose your job and as such end up becoming both my fan and my adversary in jobseeking. But I digress... As I compile this list o' blogs, I will link you to some best of a certain theme blogs, and of course, offer you my remarks.

I welcome your comments, recommendations, and ideas. I will accept your judgments, antagonizing remarks, and general disdain, however, I ask that you remember that I am but a lonely single girl on the brink of either something really great, or really awful (did I appeal to your sympathies?).
